At this point in the process, you have already done your research on the company you wish to work for. After all, if you know very little about a prospective employer, why would you ever be excited to work there?

How would ever convince the interviewer that you would be a valuable employee if you cannot communicate how you would add value to the organization? Companies want employees that enjoy what they do; the more enthusiastic someone is about his or her job, the harder they work.

Knowledge of the company also gives you an edge over other interviewees that have not done any research. You don’t have to flaunt facts in the interviewer’s face, but when they ask you why you want to work there, you must give them an informed answer in relation to what the company offers and how you can assist the company in growing their business.

When interviewing for employment, there are any number of questions an employer might ask. Anything from the extremely broad: Tell me about yourself? To the very narrowed: What do you feel is your greatest strength? To everything in between: Do you like working as a team? Would you describe yourself as a leader? What are your hobbies?

The employer wants to know as much about your personality as he or she does about what you will be like as an employee. You should be pleasant and courteous, avoid becoming fidgety and nervous. It sounds difficult to keep from being nervous, but just remember; everyone else interviewing for employment at the company is rather likely to be nervous as well.

Along with being pleasant and appearing happy to be there (as there is no reason you shouldn’t be – an interview is one step closer to landing the job!), you should arrive on time (if not a little early) and be dressed appropriately.

Extremely casual dress has become the norm these days; jeans and a t-shirt or sweatshirt are more and more common. However, when interviewing for employment, you should look the part. Dress professionally – no jeans or casual shirts!

Keep your hair back and avoid excess amounts of makeup, jewelry, or fragrances. These will only serve as distractions while your interviewer talks to you. One thing people tend to forget is that when you look your best you tend to feel your best, and this can give you an extra boost of confidence when you walk into the room.

You can master the interview process. You can even make a list of things to remember, from our free resource, to make sure you have everything just the way you want it.

Know what questions you want to ask the interviewer when your time comes around. Give a firm handshake and a confident smile.

Once you dazzle the interviewer, all you have to do is wait for the phone call telling you the job is yours!

Reasons why you should make the decision today to get out of debt:

Debt is NOT your friend. It's not a wonderful "tool" for building wealth. That's a myth.

If all your income goes to making payments, you have no personal freedom to follow your dreams.

When you eliminate your payments and use that money to save, you quickly begin building wealth.

YOU CAN GET OUT OF DEBT... and start winning again.
