Whats A Good Credit Score? - The Real Answers

Whats a good credit score? If you are wondering what a good credit score is, then this article may have the right answers for you.

But before getting into the details, please note that the views expressed here are quite different from those of debt management firms and other financial entities, who tend to only stress the importance of maintaining a good credit score – meaning a high score.

"Eighty percent of success is showing up."
- Woody Allen

It is not that the views, suggestions and recommendations of these entities are completely meaningless. However, they apply to you only if you are a firm believer of the concept that credit must be a part of life and as such, living a debt-free life is not a real option.

If you are okay living with debt in your life, then you won’t think twice about following the recommendations provided by these entities. If you are already in debt and plan to use more credit in the near future, then it certainly makes sense to do all that is required for maintaining a high credit score.

So, whats a good credit score, somewhere between 750 and 850. A score in this range is considered quite good by most lenders.

If you are able to achieve and maintain such a high score, you can derive a range of benefits such as a reduced rate of interest, special purchase offers and even an increased credit limit.

All this may lead you to believe that there is no problem in using credit, as long as you are able to maintain a good credit score, but you need to realize that using credit is just like any other addiction and harmful in the long run.

Despite the above benefit, we recommend you rethink how you answer the question, whats a good credit score? A credit score of zero, we believe, is the best score you can have.

You should immediately stop using credit and make a resolution that you will never use any type of credit in future. Once you repay your existing debts, you will be able to live a debt-free life and most importantly, you will never have to seek answers to trivial questions such as, whats a good credit score?

Without a doubt, living a debt-free life is certainly the best thing to do for a wide variety of reasons. It will require a great deal of commitment and dedication on your part, but the rewards are priceless.

Once you pay off your debts and stop using credit, don’t be discouraged when you see your credit score dip lower and lower, eventually to a zero credit score. At this point, get excited! You are now living life totally debt free!

"Rather go to bed supperless than rise in debt."
- Benjamin Franklin

Reasons why you should make the decision today to get out of debt:

Debt is NOT your friend. It's not a wonderful "tool" for building wealth. That's a myth.

The Debtor is a slave to the lender. Real "freedom" is when YOU are in control of your money, and when your money is working for you.

If all your income goes to making payments, you have no personal freedom to follow your dreams.

When you eliminate your payments and use that money to save, you quickly begin building wealth.

YOU CAN GET OUT OF DEBT... and start winning again.
